MGS has the upper hand as an investment after some time but Crisis core is a new game and you said you already owned the MGS games so I would buy the MGS Collection wait a couple of years and then sell it for ten time more and then buy Crisis Core for the money you earned from the MGS collection. If you can wait to play an awesome game that is.
I would only get the Metal Gear collection over Crisis Core if you have not experienced the Metal Gear games. That would have way more value. But since you have, I'd go with Crisis Core.

I actually think the original game might have more resale value.Take the original Chrono Trigger for SNES is worth over $100. But the remake for PSX WITH FFIV you can get for like $10.But i don't know anything about collecting and selling stuff.
