cod 4 online is incredibly overrated imobut if your bored just get vegasCOD 4 or Rainbow 6
theres a lot of treads like this...theyre too different to compare..the things that ARE compariable are the graphics ....obviously COD4 wins..but R6V looks a lot better than the first one...anyways i have both and theyre both really fun...r6v is the kind of game u grow to love ..cod4 will suck u in from day one...i played too much cod4 that its boring for me...so i play r6v A LOT lately

better online?? id say cod just cuz theres less lag and bugs...number of maps...r6v has a couple more (i think) players in game..u can have up to 14 in r6v2 ..i forget the number in cod4 but i think theres more in cod ...community...cod4 has more ppl playing but it doesnt mean r6c is deserted...theres still a good amount
CoD4 is a better game than R6V2, however,.... i LOVE the controls in Rainbow6... i just love that gameplay... CoD4 is too run and gunny... i love both, but i choose R6V... and i love the online and Co-op... it's a shame CoD4 doesn't have co-op

I'd definitely stick with cod 4. I've seen both games, and rsv is boring and too similar to ghost recon (in my opinion). Cod 4 looks really cinematic, and i've always liked the cod series.
I like cover system and an AI that's actually THERE. So I would say Vegas.

RSV IMO. COD4 is overrated

ROFL.
I think a lot of people don't get how to get good at CoD 4... so they just call it ''overrated''.
There hasn't been a good Tom Clancy game since R6 Rogue Spear. Even GRAW sucked.

They are nothing alike, in COD4 you can basically run and gun at times. In my experiences with both games, I found the IQ of R6V players to be higher on average. So don't give me that ''I'm not good at the game so I bash it'' crap. It's good, but not THAT good
