It won't cost anything.
a tad doubtfull.
Xbox LIVE will continue to exist the way that it is. This would just be an optional feature if you wanted to use it. It won't cost anything. You could just download this application in LIVE for free. It will be similar to HOME and Second Life in that it will mainly be used as an interactive chat room where you could walk around with an avatar and chat and meet with hundreds or thousands of other gamers (similar to WoW). You can even play games just like Home. If you don't like it just don't download or use it. Plain and simple. Sounds pretty awesome. I'm gonna email this to Microsoft Games Division but I'm pretty sure that have others working on this very idea should Sony's Home idea become popular. To those who say Microsoft should stick with their own plan and not copy. Well Sony is copying many of LIVE's features like trophies (achievements), so who cares. Imitation is flattery anyways right?
if you think MS will let a application as such to release for free you are sadly mistaken my friend

It won't cost anything.
a tad doubtfull.
There's many ways to pay. In program advertisements. ETC. Plus we are already paying for LIVE. It would work.

Microsoft will have a chance to dissect PS3's home after it is released and make it much better. This is a huge advantage for Microsoft in this respect. Also I just enjoy LIVE so much the way that it is. I only like some aspects of PS3's home.
