Because they can say what they want? How can MS say they are serious about Ja ...
I can't disagree, LO, Eternal Sonata, and Blue Dragon were steps in the right direction, MS needs a truly Japanese source to produce games for Japan.
I don't think they have one and it is kind of funny. If they wanted to break into the market why not own a couple of studios there and have them make creative games and games that would tailor to japan. I mean how can they say they are serious about Japan if they don't even have a japanese gaming studio of their own.DOing this second party and relying on third party is not going to be enough. They need more creative minds in MS gaming as a whole.
I thought they owned mistwalker (the devs that made blue dragon and lost odyssey)
Yea those games are good and I do appreciate them, but without a first party Japanese studio how are they building their gaming portfolio. These second and third parties do not have to make games for the 360 if they do not want to.

Well Nintendo says they're serious about online as well...LOL.
Feel plus is owned by microsoft. Epic failed!
Well Nintendo says they're serious about online as well...LOL.
True dat.

(I didn't list PSP or PS3 because Hironobu Sakaguchi said he doesn't want to make a game for Sony again or atleast this gen.)
You know what? That's a really good question.Japanese culture is very important to Japan, and many times (but not always, as is the case with things like the Ipod) japanese products will do better. Owning a Japanese studio would be good to try an d get japanese consumers.
Well Nintendo says they're serious about online as well...LOL.
But there are first party online games. there are no first party japanese games.
My crow sovt

It would be a bit better if microsoft bought a japanese studio. Any development studios in japan that microsoft could aquire? If i was microsoft i'd buy ''PlatinumGames'' (founded by members of clover studios).

Well Nintendo says they're serious about online as well...LOL.
But there are first party online games. there are no first party japanese games.
MS Japan support is crap, Nintendo online support is crap.Apples to apples.
Feel plus is owned by microsoft. Epic failed!
they do? I thought that was a studio made in conjunction with Mistwalker, but because weren't they created after Mistwalker wanted certain developers to help make Lost Odyssey. ALso why haven't they made a game before or have another project under MS name without mistwalker?

according to wiki, feel plus are making blue dragon on the ds.
according to wiki, feel plus are making blue dragon on the ds.
Brownie Brown which is wholly owned by Nintendo is also working on Blue Dragon+ (DS) so I think Brownie Brown and Feel Plus are co-developing it.
