PSN > XBL by summer???

What would PSN have that XBL doesnt have? From what I have see, there are 2 things that seem to seperate XBL %26 PSN. Achievements and in game chat and messaging. XBL- Achievements = PSN- The addition of Home will, hopefully, be just as good or better. IMO, it could be great with the possibility of having trophies and such. Here is a mini article from PSM talking about the possibility of gaming and talking at the same time-''While there hasn't been an official announcement yet, enough hints have trickled in for us to believe that PS3 in-game messaging capability is just around the corner. First, a note showed up on the official U.S. Playstation Network website claiming you'll soon be able to 'talk to others during gameplay, say hello anytime you're online or have a video chat with an Eye camera, USB camera or headset.' (The note was subsequently removed.) And now, Ray Maguire from SCE UK let slip in an interview with MCV that their 'Momentum will continue with the introduction of in-game communication in the summer, firmware update 2.4...' While we can't hammer down any precise dates we'd say that's a pretty good indication that in-game messaging is on it's way''Sounds good from what I am understanding. Is there anything else?So is it plausible that PSN will have everything to equal XBL by summer?BTW... for free :DPSN %26gt; XBL by summer???
the notion is already being discussed here:http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26317659maybe you should copy and paste your thoughts and put them there.PSN %26gt; XBL by summer???
Perhaps, perhaps not, it all depends on Home taking off.
:oso can i delete this thread...lol
until Sony starts getting paid for their service, i think MS will always have something more to offer with XBL.

Not really, And for one reason that doesn't realy seem to ever come up in discuissions about online console gaming on any console. I guess it might be just a little thing for me to harp that doesn't realy matter to anyone (since no one ever talks about it in these comparisons). I'm talking about GAMES. Where the hell are the online games that I'm supposed to be excited about? Does anyone give a damn or are we too busy tabulating feature lists for the platform's online abilities? I'm sure someone out there cares, it just doens't seem like it since no one talks about the games when they talk about online gaming on the platforms. I take a look at PS3 and Xbox 360's offerings for online gaming and I'm not sure what to get excited about. Little Big Planet and Echocrome seem to be the PS3 games with online that actually matters to me and that's about it's how we're going to distribute the crap we've made. Where's the games that really leverage what is great about the consoles rather than trying to duplicate the online gaming experiences that have worked best on consoles? I mean, does it all have to be FPSs and racing games offering the same thing on the consoles that have been on the PC for years? How about an online fighting game that doesn't suck? Wii did it, so I don't see why PS3 and Xbox 360 can't. Hey, how about an online component to our platformers? Or adventure games? If Nintendo can create a Zelda with multiplayer on their hand helds, I don't see why we can't make an adventure and puzzle game on the consoles that realy takes advantage of online capabilities. Untill the PS3 or Xbox 360 has something to realy set them appart in terms of GAMES I don't care what features either has.
when psn has 15 million users like xbox live...then this statement can be made..till then..yeah xbox live is a better service over all, it has better features, and all the features are unified over all games, it has more users, it makes money for microsoft, it has more downloadeable content...ect
I do not think so. It has a long way to go.
