Is the tension high between COD4 and Hal ...

I have a 360, but I don't have live for it. So I bought COd4 on my PS3.I can see on here how some Halo fanboys are reacting over COD4 taking the spot on the most played game on Xbox Live. Is this tension only shown on these forums or over the actual service? Is the tension high between COD4 and Hal ...
Yeah man they're at war. 2 million dead already. Is the tension high between COD4 and Hal ...
Oh yeah, they regular decide to settle it in Rainbow Six Vegas 2 matches.
I think its mostly on these forums. Most people could care less, and probably play both COD4 and Halo 3 indiscriminately.
I broke my brothers nose because he said COD4 was way better than Halo 3.
Yeah man they're at war. 2 million dead already.
Lol, I just wanted to know if the average Halo 3/Cod4 player even cares on XBL like they do on the forums.
I think there is. I saw once two guys arguing about it and they were mad at each other too.
I think there is. I saw once two guys arguing about it and they were mad at each other too.
Yeah, I saw two of them suddenly kill each other in the bus queue. A guy said Halo 3 was great, and then this other guy yelled CoD4 ever and killed the other guy with a knife.
I killed someone because he said Halo 3 sucks.

Don't be ridiculous. The vast majority of 360, PS3, and Wii users are not mindless fanboys, let alone people who are just playing Halo 3 and COD4 both on the 360. They have better things to do than put even a moment's worth of thought in the ''wars'' talked about here. Not only do I play COD4 and H3 with people who play and like both, I hear lots of people talking about the Wii and PS3 while on Live, and not in a negative light. They either aren't aware people think such a war exists, or they don't even care (I fall into the latter camp.) They just talk about things they've played or want to play, or things they're looking forward to. If you hate Halo 3 because you like COD4 and you feel like they're at ''war'' with one another (and vice versa) then you're a loser, and you need a better way to invest your time. These are video games we're talking about here. There are millions of people playing Live, and fanboys make up a tiny, tiny percentage of people playing video games. Most people playing games aren't even aware of the video game fanboy concept.

Among the people I work with, there's sort of a little mini war going on between the Halo players and the Call of Duty players, like sometimes when we get on we'll message eachother saying ''Halo sucks!'' or ''Call of Duty is lame!''. It's more of a joke than anything else, I think anyone that really takes that stuff seriously needs to get a life.
Yes, when I play as Master Chief in Call of Duty 4 everybody tries to kill me. So don't ever use the Spartan Armor code on that game or you'll be sorry.

ppl just have to have a reason to discuss
Since when did COD4 surpass halo? Yesterday when I was on COD it only had around 150000 people while halo had 300000.

Nope.
No one really cares online.
