Why does everyone say Sonic's dead/bad/e ...

Sure, Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Heroes sucked, and apparently the 360 game (never played it), but what about the good games, like Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic Adventure 2:Battle (or the SA series in general)? Sonic and the Secret Rings is pretty bad game, at least imo.
there hasn't been a good console game since Adventure. There's something wrong if it takes them that long to make another good game.

I only liked the Genesis ones, I thought the GBA onwards games had lost thier soul , level design was better back on the genesis ... and Sonics new image is just as lame as the old one.

Bad camera, the characters doesn't have any weight so it's hard to control them. Stupid stops in the gameplay, Sonic is supposed to run fast not crawl in dark corridors or hunt down enemies learn this Team Sonic:evil:

meh the first and 2nd were the best.its gone downhill from there.
Really bad 3D games. If they brought back Sonic in his 2D glory and return everything that was lovable about him, things would change.But for now, Sega killed a popular game character.
