Mario's got NOTHING on this guy (56k?)

Mario- a fat plumber??..Winner: SonicBoss Battles: Sonic- the best parts of the game. Mario- the worst part of the game (bowser is just wayy too easy)Story: Sonic- you save lil' animals. Mario- save the same princess that doesn't give you jack for all your troubles.Even tails is a better sidekick than Luigi. Mario's got NOTHING on this guy (56k?)
At least the majority of Mario's fanbase isn't a bunch of furries. (From my experience it is).Sonic is just lame. They try to make it look cool but it really isn't... Kind of like teenage smoking but worse.The Sonic series hasn't even been good since the genesis days. While the Mario Series has gotten arguably better. (GOTY)By the way, you don't need to put a 56k warning for only one small picture.

I think Sonic is overrated, and I'm not saying that as a Nintendo fanboy. His Genesis/Mega Drive games were solid, no question and I didn't mind Sonic Adventure or even Sonic Heroes. The problem is that Mario has been better in my eyes. This is because Sonic was always simply hold right down. It got tiresome and the franchise never really evolved. Now I'm not being Anti-Sega, I just think he gets too much credit. Especially when there are better Sega franchises like Jet Set Radio.

I was a child of the Master System and Genesis. Sonic was my favorite console mascot, even though I played the hell out of Rocket Knight Adventures. Anyways, Sonic has died and he's no longer relevant. Mario is relevant and just came out with one of his best games ever. I loved Sonic back in the day, but sadly, he's lost the touch and has nothing on our plumber friend.
All Sega want to do is rape old sonic gaming memories with new cash in titles..
i do not know how you can compare mario with sonic.just see the very bad sonic adventure on ps3 and xbox 360 and then compare it with the best platform ever and one of the best games ever super mario galaxy.you can also see that any platform game that caries the name mario is always the best and by far from the others.videogames would not be as we know them if mario did not existed..he is one of the charachters that his popularity has achieved to make him look a lot more than a videogame charachter.i have lived with him some of my best videogame experiences and all mario games are simply something special for all.
